Loads of Newcastle United fans have been reacting on social media after Andy Carroll shared a clip of himself absolutely destroying Joelinton in training with a sublime piece of skill.
The two strikers moved to St. James’ Park in the summer as the club set about improving the attacking options to hand for Steve Bruce, following the end of Salamon Rondon’s loan spell and the departure of Rafa Benitez.
Joelinton has firmly been Bruce’s preferred option in attack thus far this term, with the £40million Brazilian having started each of our 12 Premier League games to date despite not scoring since hitting the match-winner at Tottenham Hotspur in August.
Carroll, meanwhile, has been on and off the bench regularly since returning to fitness in September, with the Gateshead-born 30-year-old making six appearances for a total of 97 minutes.

The 9-cap former England international’s last two outings may have only combined for a total of eight minutes, but Carroll is clearly taking no prisoners in training going by the clip he shared on Instagram on Wednesday.
