The Forthcoming 2018 / 2019 Season, Greatness, Mediocrity Or A Right Old Struggle, You Decide

|

It’s hard to believe, not that I’m complaining, the new Premier League season is just around the corner.

Perhaps it has been because of the recent enthralling World Cup we’ve all just witnessed seemed to make the gap between the last game of last season and the first game of the new season appear shorter than usual.

This weekend the traditional curtain-raiser will take place when Manchester City take on Chelsea in the Community Shield, at Wembley, a case of the Premier League title winners taking on the FA Cup winners.

As we prepare to herald the dawn of a new season, we’re looking to get those who visit this site the chance to participate, with a series of invitations to air your views.

First up, we considered offering you the chance to air your views on how the club has performed in the summer transfer window, but we decided to put that on hold just in case Newcastle decided to bring in the odd superstar or two before the transfer window closes at midnight next Thursday.

Instead, we’re going to approach things from a different angle.

Instead, we’d like to know how you believe the club will fare this coming season?

Anticipation levels are normally quite high (at most clubs) at this time of the year, everybody has a dream their club will win some silverware in the months ahead.

But, as the situation stands, how do you see Newcastle doing?

Are we in for a good season a mediocre one or are we going to just plain struggle?

Please feel free to air your views in the comments facility beneath this article.
