A lot of Newcastle United fans think that if both of the Longstaff’s were sold, other fans would not react and continue to go games.
This is in response to an article which states that Newcastle are attempting to tie both of them down to new long-term deals.
However, while a contract for Matty looks possible, a deal for Sean has hit an impasse in talks.
This has led to a lot of Newcastle fans worrying about Mike Ashley deciding to cash in on Sean rather than continue negotiations.
The Toon slapped a £50m price on the 21-year-old, and with his reputation continuing to grow, the unpopular Newcastle owner may accept a bid for the most talented player the Magpies have produced since Andy Carroll.
