These are not my words! These are from a Geordie who happens to be a teacher living and working overseas. His name is Timothy J Higgins. Please read on?

@NUFC. Fans don’t enjoy supporting Newcastle United anymore. We endure every day, every match, every news story.

Out of frustration, we fight with one other.

We look at each game. Not with confidence, with dread in that we will lose, AGAIN.

Any attempt at lifting the mood is met with disbelief and pessimism.

We’ve heard it all before.

My students in South Korea say, “teacher, support a better team.” They don’t understand – we can’t.

To a real fan, the team is family, and ours is sick. We’re like alcoholics, miserable and stuck, addicted.

Ashley’s newest promise of dedication and commitment….?

He isn’t looking to sell. He does nothing to lift us, the fans.

It’s a terminal prognosis and a bleak outlook.

January investment? And worst of all, he isn’t looking to sell.

He does nothing to lift us. It’s a terminal prognosis and a bleak outlook.

Here is his Tweet.

Don’t you think the author’s words sum precisely how millions of us feel?

Mr. Higgins can be heard via his weekly radio show on GFN 98.7.
