Ten games into the new Premier League season, Newcastle United sit joint-bottom of the league and are still waiting for their first victory in 2018-19.
A goalless draw against Southampton on Saturday continued a dreadful start for the Magpies, who have scored just six goals this season, and concern is rising about whether Rafael Benitez will be able to work his magic once again.
While the start has been tough, seeing Newcastle tackle five of last season’s top six already, the performances have been a major cause for concern and fans have urged the club to improve in a crucial run of fixtures over the coming weeks.
The biggest issue for supporters after the draw against Southampton was the lack of attacking threat and many took to social media to express their thoughts, replying to a tweet from Newcastle’s official account at the end of the game.

This is truly truly depressing. Not one shot on target. Horrible horrible game. We are a really poor team at the moment.
