Newcastle supporters have got some talented youngsters on their club’s books at the moment, and whilst things aren’t optimistic under the management of Steve Bruce and the ownership of Mike Ashley, they can at least be pleased that they have some homegrown youngsters in and around the squad.

The likes of Sean and Matty Longstaff have been the subject of much media interest, however, one man who hasn’t is a young Newcastle loanee striker. The man in question is young Elias Sorensen and at the age of 20-years-old, he’s currently out on loan in the EFL for the second time in his career.
The first of those loan spells took him to Blackpool between January and March earlier this year and now he’s at Carlisle, where between the two spells he’s played 301 minutes of football without finding the net and with just a single assist to his name (Transfermarkt).
You can read the Magpies’ verdict on what’s best for Sorensen here:
Bring him back and loan him out again, even if it’s to a lower league This time, game times important

Bring him back and put him in the first team. We have nothing to loose

Recall him and put him into the starting 11

Stick him up top for us. We can hardly score any less goals than we currently are

He’s showing amazing potential, yet no club wants to play him. He’s surely better than what they have so why not play him.

Good cuz we need a striker who can find the back of the net in our team…

The Magpies, as you can see, have a lot of time for Sorensen and a lot of them are for him returning to the club.
