Fresh from looking like the player we know he can be for France in the World Cup, Moussa Sissoko has hinted that he’s happy and content with life on Tyneside.

Speaking on the official Fifa.com website, the Frenchman was quoted as saying:

‘England is made for me, and it fits with my style of play. I grabbed this chance and I’m very happy to be in the country that’s the home of football.’

Personally speaking, the box to box midfielder has performed in fits and starts here because of his use in various positions, mainly the wing but his performances for France must surely get the thinking that he’s more use in his orthadox position.

Whatever happens, the £2 million transfer fee we paid seems yet another bargain.
