With the season drawing to a close and targets being drawn up Glenn Roeder has assured our fans that there will be some serious work done on the recruitment front. As part of this overhaul it looks like a new scout will be appointed, Roeder confirming that:

“I hope to be able to make a key appointment in terms of scouting in the very near future. I think there will be more of a European flavour about our set-up.’

With Sidwell much touted as being the first through the door, Nancy defender Pape Diakhate has also been linked. Roeder also discussed the fact he`ll be nipping away to take in some matches this week involving potential targets.
