A lot of Newcastle fans are thrilled with Allan Saint-Maximin’s latest piece of skill to add to his growing compilation video.
A video of the 22-year-old springing himself up from the floor has gone viral, and it is just another reason why so many Toon fans love their new mercurial French winger.
On Saturday, Saint-Maximin was a menace throughout and should have scored when he found himself one-on-one with Aaron Ramsdale but hit the bar.
He was also denied a first assist when his deflected shot landed on the head of DeAndre Yedlin, who powered home.
The Frenchman then inadvertently stopped Miguel Almiron from scoring his first Magpies goal when he diverted the Paraguayan’s goal-bound effort over the bar.
However, despite this, Saint-Maximin has improved Newcastle immeasurably, and that front three now looks a dangerous prospect for any side to face.
Does it matter that Saint-Maximin has not scored or assisted yet?
Yes, he needs to deliver end product
No, he adds so much to our side
