Jesse Lingard
The Manchester United midfielder’s future is still up in the air with him refusing to sign a new contract at Old Trafford, preferring to move on in search of game time. Newcastle had been widely tipped to take the pacey winger off Man United’s hands back in January but a deal fell through. Now, however, former Red Devil, Teddy Sheringham as urged Lingard to re-join West Ham where he had a successful loan spell. (via The Chronicle)
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Calvert-Lewin is entering the last year of his Everton contract and it is expected that The Toffees will be looking to sell in the summer in order to bolster their transfer kitty. Full report here.
Tyrone Mings
The Mirror are reporting that Steven Gerrard could be looking to revamp his Aston Villa squad amid interest from Newcastle in England defender, Tyrone Mings. A fee of £35m could see Mings swap Villa Park for St James’ Park with Gerrard eyeing a swoop for Joe Gomez from Liverpool as a replacement. Mings has a history with Toon boss, Eddie Howe from their time together at Bournemouth and would be an exciting addition to the squad.
