Roeder: ‘You are trying to keep so many balls up in the air at the same time. The season has started now, there is training to be taken care of during the day, there are matches to be overseen – and win.

‘At the same time, you have to find enough time to make sure the players you want, you get before the transfer window closes.

‘It’s not quite 24 hours a day, but it’s not far off at the moment. But I have to say, I am really enjoying it.’
