James Troisi will be out of contract this summer but the Toon’s Australian youngster will not be going to play in Holland, well at least not for Roda from the looks of things as they are unwilling to pay a fee.

Troisi, who has come through the ranks at St James’, is out of contract this summer and a move to Roda looked on, even more so with him spending some time on trial at the club in the winter. Under the Bosman rules as the midfielder is under 23 Roda would have to pay a compensation fee to the Toon in order to sign him, but they were not keen on doing so for the 19-year-old.

Kevin Keegan is undecided on Troisi’s St James’ future, but has said that he will decide in the coming weeks. Will Troisi get a contract extension with the Toon or will his stay come to an end in the summer?
