Last night the Reserves suffered a 3-2 reverse to their Leeds counterparts down at the classily named Kit Kat Crescent in York. However the exercise provided a decent chance for some of the fringe players in Chris Hughton’s squad to impress. Foremost amongst these were the two goalscorers, Nile Ranger and Ryan Donaldson, who gave our boss a sharp nudge in the right direction.

Ranger also managed to miss a penalty and the rebound earlier in the game. Nevertheless he is still applying the pressure on the woeful Harewood as a further option to Clipboard Chris’s squad.
