Kevin Keegan knew that Peter Ramage was a target for QPR and that a deal would most probably go through sometime this week so he didn’t want to put his move in jeopardy, so he didn’t really want to play him against Everton on Sunday. However with time almost up he decided to give him a Toon send-off, something that Ramage has already expressed his gratitude at.

Ramage has now completed his free transfer move to QPR, signing a three-year contract with the club that many are already tipping as favourites for the Championship Title next season as heavy investment is likely.

I expect that all Toon followers will wish the 24-year-old all the best of luck for the future.
