We know it’s a long haul in the championship and with only seven games played in the forty six game season, we’ve still some 85% of it to go but we’re all aware of this
The 15% played though, has seen the Rafa Benitez stock rise considerably although he’s the most professional in all this and is keeping things level headed.
Reports in Spain have the Newcastle boss as being seen in really positive lights with their biggest paper, Marca sharing the positive vibes by telling it how it is and saying that he’s well loved on Tyneside.
The fact that a second division club in England is getting page space in their country is incredible anyway, so it makes you think where this could end up.

From the Spanish media saying that Rafa has taken a backward step by being relegated, they have changed their tune to concentrate on the massive improvements made.
They have also mentioned the fact that both Benitez and the club are on an upward curve with the interest increasing by the day.
The fact that the stock of Rafa is rising all the time, the big worry is that a top European club comes in for him to challenge the major trophies but if Mike Ashley is really serious about allowing Benitez free reign here then surely his project will come first?
