Reports suggest that Newcastle might face stiff competition in their attempt to sign Deportivo midfielder Aldo Duscher.
The holding midfielder has been linked several times to a January transfer move to Newcastle but it now seems Manchester United, desperate to bolster their flagging midfield, might also be in the race for his signature.
The Argentine international is reportedly worth around £6million bracket, during the January transfer window.
