Plenty of Newcastle United fans have been slamming Toon midfielder Matty Longstaff following suspicions that he could end up at Watford, should he decide to join Udinese.
According to the Daily Mail, the Magpies believe that the 20-year-old could end up at the Hornets, having rejected a contract offer of more than £20,000-a-week with Steve Bruce’s side.
With the Pozzo family owning both the Serie A side and Watford, we have allegedly put two and two together and feel that Longstaff would quickly return to the Premier League if he moves to Europe.

Longstaff made his Premier League debut this season and has become an important squad player for the Tyneside club, scoring three times in 11 appearances.
Because of this, supporters blasted Longstaff and made their feelings clear about him on social media. One fan said that he has “done nothing yet” in a Newcastle shirt, which is subjective. While others described him as greedy and as “overrated”.
Sorry but if he’s turned down 20k a week after 6 games in pl and is will g to leave his hometown club on the verge of possibly its best ever period for an extra 5k then good riddance. Pure greed! He’s 19.
