Having scored the equaliser against the Tigers at the KC, Steven Taylor represented one of the few players to even care against the other relegation battlers. After scoring the goal the centre half decided to sum up the performance saying:

‘We’re always waiting to see what happen. In the first half, especially away from home, we always seem to wait for something to happen. When they (Hull) scored the goal, that was the time we all had to raise ourselves. Obviously, the fans weren’t happy, and they had every right not to be.

We got the goal in the last 10 minutes of the first half, and that’s how we should be playing. Then we took the game to them. We should be doing that all season, not just now. We’ve got to start taking risks if we’re going to start getting results. We’re going to have to start getting in the box and having a few shots outside the box. The sides were are playing against aren’t afraid to have a shot and follow up.’
