Given: 8/10 – One hell of a stop from Collinson and nothing he could do with the goals gives him another solid mark.

Taylor: 6/10 – Went down a mark for a needless shove to effectively rule out Lucas Neill`s ‘own goal`. Otherwise the usual Taylor performance – plenty of pointing but little else.

Coloccini: 6/10 – Given a testing time by Bellamy and Cole. Held the line reasonably well to catch them offside.

Bassong: 6/10 – Similar to Coloccini and was probably lucky not to have given away a penalty. Didn`t enjoy the rough stuff with Cole.

Enrique: 7/10 – Set up Owen for the first goal but again was a constant victim of the work West Ham were putting in down the channels.

Gutierrez: 9/10 – Full of energy and far more like the Jonas of earlier in the season. Should have got the winner at the end but was denied by Upson.

Guthrie: 6/10 – Battled well against former Mag Parker but you could tell he had been laid low during the week.

Geremi: 5/10 – As we`ve said time and time again – has no legs. We looked far better once Charles Le Sulk came on.

Subbed for: Charles N`Zogbia: 7/10 – Should have started ideally but either his whinges or twinges forced us to put up with Geremi.

Duff: 7/10 – Worked well with the midfield for a change, setting up Carroll`s goal and offering him a couple of earlier chances.

Carroll – 8/10 – Put himself about well but missed a couple of chances to get off the mark. Nice to see him finally score in black and white.

Owen: 7/10 – Scored but missed several other opportunities to get the game sewn up in our favour. Not affected by the earlier Citeh talk.
