“Already a man down before kick-off” – A lot of Newcastle United fans are fuming that Mike Dean will be in charge of their home game with Manchester United on Sunday.
Dean widely known as one of the Premier League’s more extravagant referees and does not have a good reputation with various clubs including Newcastle.
Last season Dean sent DeAndre Yedlin off against Wolverhampton Wanderers but failed to also dismiss Willy Boly after he smashed Ayoze Perez in the face.
This season, though Dean was in charge of Newcastle’s only Premier League win – so perhaps it is a good omen that he will be the referee?
These Newcastle fans are not sure, and they are convinced he will favour Manchester United.
