I make no bones about the fact that Loic Remy is a decent footballer.

A player that has an aura to inject pace and movement in players that surround him in the side as well, such is his infectious style.

However, we’ll stop the gushing right there. He wont be joining Newcastle United permanently.

The Frenchman who was our top scorer by a country mile last season and an alleged paltry release clause of £8 million, just hasn’t the stomach to join whatever our shambles of a footballing policy we have.

He’ll instead join the likes of Arsenal or new followers, Liverpool for greater wage demands and the chance to compete in cups that the clubs want to try to win. Including the Champions League.

What also can’t be forgotten about Remy is that he could have joined us 2 seasons back until he chose QPR over a game of Fifa. Ashley may have reduced his wage offer, maybe not but a last minute change of heart says a lot about a player and not one that id trust in the black and whote.

We also can’t forget that he didn’t want to play in our final league game or try too hard to get back after injuries to protect his World Cup place.

Football’s ruined with the many corrupt people in charge or playing, all dictated by the folding stuff. We don’t need that here.
