With tomorrow being the 125th anniversary of when Newcastle allegedly became United, all focus has been away from the football this week.

Aside that being a dangerous thing, Rafa Benitez will have had his players drilled this week in what the task is and how to use what should be a special atmosphere.

Returning to full training this week were Christian Atsu and club captain Jamaal Lascelles with their absence being greatly felt recently.

Speaking in his pre-match conference today, Rafa said that both are fit and available for the visit of Leicester with a high chance that both will start considering their loss.

Talking on the official NUFC website, Rafa said of it: Lascelles and Atsu, they are available. Dummett will play with the Under 23s today to improve his match fitness.

We had some problems and now we are bringing back players and that is good news, because the competition between players is the key for us.

Victory tomorrow would only be our second in the last eleven games and it’s vital that we start to convert chances to keep the pressure off the team and avoid being sucked into the basement battle although the return of the injured players can only help the cause.
