The Chronicle are reporting that the club have scheduled the next fans’ forum for Wednesday 25th April.
Likely to be on the agenda will be the future of Rafa Benitez. However, some fans are hoping for more news on a potential takeover now our Premier League status has been ensured for another season.
Here is some of the reaction on Twitter to the story:
Its simple, he must back Rafa… no excuses. If someone bids a reasonable amount, he has to go. No false promises this time, even Rafa has a limit of what he'll take. He's pushed his luck too many times.

Truth. And I hate thinking it, but if he does end up pushing Rafa out, can you imagine the backlash. Time to be smart for once, either fund the team or sell up.

I will be interested to hear what they have to say, although I doubt I will like it. It would be nice to be pleasantly surprised! 'Hes definitely selling' would be the only words to please me, not platitudes RE Rafa & investment. #brokenpromises

Please announce that a potential sale of the club is near to being finalized.

In the words of Fleetwood Mac – Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.

Lets hope its constructive & not empty promises. @NUFC can not make same mistakes & lose out on such a great position. Support Rafa now.

With their track record everyone will fear the worst

Hopefully announce that a Takeover deal is back on now that we’re safe from relegation ???

Verdict:
Whether we will get any straight answers from Lee Charnley, it is debatable, but hopefully there will be some positive news on Rafa.
Answers on a takeover of the club are probably going to be less forthcoming even if there are bidders now looking to buy the club.
One of the most important questions that will likely be asked, will be about investment in the squad. With the club secure for another campaign in the top flight, TV revenue should now be available to re-invest in the transfer budget. We will have to wait and see if this money will indeed be made available to the manager.
