Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen has admitted that he may leave the Tigers in the January transfer window – as he looks to move to the Premier League.
Bowen has established himself as one of the Championship’s best players with consistently excellent performances for a struggling Hull side.
Last season the 22-year-old winger scored a breathtaking 22 goals from the wing, and this year he has five in 12 appearances.
Steve Bruce is said to want to add another winger to his side in the next transfer window, and he has had an eye on Bowen since he took the Toon job.
Supposedly Newcastle chose Allan Saint-Maximin over the former Hereford man, but they could end up with both by the end of January.
Bowen was said to be keen on a move to Tyneside, and if Newcastle came back in for the winger, he might well push for a move to join the Magpies.
Bowen is a player who has impressed in the Championship, and though unproven in the Premier League, he could be the man they need to start scoring goals.
For a winger, his goal record is insane, and I would love to see him playing in black & white soon.
This latest update from the Hull winger implies that he is looking to leave East Yorkshire soon, and Newcastle have to be at the front of the queue ready to sign him.
