Newcastle United’s Elias Sorensen, who is currently on loan at Carlisle United, has posted a somewhat cryptic message on his Instagram account that suggested he is growing frustrated at his lack of game time.

The caption he used under his post said, “He that can have patience can have what he will.”

The Danish-U21 striker was sent to the Cumbrian club by Newcastle loan manager Shola Ameobi as he was sure that he would get regular football.

Sorensen is a player that is rated highly by those behind the scenes at St James’ Park.

However, the move has not worked out with Sorensen only making nine appearances of which only one has been a start, and he has only scored one goal.

Carlisle sacked their manager Steven Pressley last week, and Sorensen will hope he can impress whoever comes in to take over as the new boss.

Is Shola Ameobi doing a good job as loan manager?

If he still cannot force his way back into the side, then Ameobi may have to recall him from his loan and find an alternative club where he can play regular football.

For now, though, Sorensen will have to be patient and hope that he can make an impact when Carlisle appoint a new boss.
