News: 26y/o Newcastle man reveals his feelings on how people see the Toon

DeAndre Yedlin feels that people always want Newcastle United to fail.

The American international, speaking to the club’s official website via the Evening Chronicle, believes that the Toon are always in the spotlight, and there is a lot of unnecessary pressure on Newcastle from people outside of Tyneside.

However, this is not getting the 26-year-old down who is instead using this as extra motivation.

Yedlin believes that the whole Newcastle team want to prove people wrong, and they take great satisfaction from beating teams they perhaps are not expected to.

Yedlin also believes that Newcastle will not face a relegation battle this year and that the squad are confident of pushing on from last season’s 14th place finish.

Yedlin missed the beginning of the season with an injury, but since he has returned, we have had a massive upturn in form, and the USA man has put in some solid displays.
