It was perhaps one of the biggest shocks of the season at the time.
The day that Newcastle United, a team who weren’t exactly expected to do much this season, went into the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and beat a team that were very much the flavour of the month after their run to the Champions League final a few months previously.
It was Steve Bruce’s first win as the head coach of Newcastle United, and it left the travelling Toon Army feeling rather happy indeed.
So it was no surprise that Newcastle United’s social media team wanted to throw back to that glorious day by putting up a video of the winner from that day, courtesy of Joelinton, and it was a clip that left some Mags feeling rather happy about their chances against the team from North London. Others though weren’t as confident.

If Bruce breaks the Jose SJP voodoo he deserves the sack for that alone

Wonder if we’ll be more aggressive and sit back for the full 90. Or use the excuse…..well you can see the difference in quality. Beaten before the match even starts.

What about you? What do you make of that footage and what do you think the result will be against Spurs?
