Newcastle United’s poor run of form continued this evening as they were beaten by Spurs at St James’ Park.
The Magpies have now lost three in a row in all competitions and head into the final two matches of the season having not won in four. It’s certainly not looking good on the pitch as confirmation about the takeover still escapes the headlines.
Matt Ritchie fired a glorious effort home in the 56th minute which could be regarded as one of the only positives to come from the match and many fans watching from home have let their anger out on one man in particular – Fabian Schar.

Plenty of the Magpies faithful were left absolutely fuming by the £11.7m-rated centre-back’s performance, blasting him for being an “absolute liability” as well as being “absolute garbage”.
One supporter even asked the club to ship him out with Steve Bruce as soon as the takeover goes through.
Per SofaScore, the 28-year-old lost possession 13 times and was dribbled past on one occasion whilst he also recorded two clearances and two interceptions.
