Newcastle United 1 Tottenham Hotspur 2 – Your Chance To Rate The Players

|

At St James Park yesterday, despite the ongoing shenanigans behind the scenes, the Newcastle United support got behind their team.

Playing Tottenham Hotspur is always a tough challenge and when Newcastle went a goal down early on, I must admit I feared the worst.

But our lads showed resilience and managed to get back on level terms pretty quickly.

Unfortunately, our defence was caught out when a cross found Dele Alli in acres of space allowing Tottenham to re-take the lead.

But, still those heads didn’t bow and but for the frame of the goal, we could have, quite easily salvaged something from the game.

Our next game is away to Cardiff City, a fixture I’d like to think we could get something from before we then have three consecutive games against the big boys of the Premier League, three games which will prove to be very testing.

However, before we concentrate on what lies ahead, we have the small matter of establishing who you thought was the Newcastle man-of-the-match against Tottenham.

Here at Vital Newcastle, we have a new feature this season, our Player Rating widget which enables you, quickly, to rate each player.

Please feel free to give it a go and we’ll see which player gets the highest rating and therefore takes our coveted man-of-the-match award.
