Newcastle Talent Talks Frustration But He Retains Hope For Better Days Ahead

|

Newcastle United youngster Victor Fernandez has been speaking about his frustration as he continues to battle against a niggly heel injury that has restricted him to only one Under 23 game all season so far, I believe.

The 20-year-old Spaniard had manager Rafa Benitez run a close eye over him during our pre-season schedule ahead of the 2018/19 kickoff as he looked to introduce him more into the first team fold, but given the nature of the injury that has blighted him, he hasn’t been on the pitch since our Under 23 side opened up their own campaign back in August.

Taking to social media to air his frustrations, as well as his hopes for a return sooner rather than later, he explained.

With Benitez having been impressed with his efforts over the last two years, and he did make his non-competitive bow for the senior side in a friendly back last March, Fernandez will be hoping to get himself clear and get back on track as he could be a bright moment for fans as we seek to end the campaign in a far better manner than we started now that particular run of games are over.
