Aleksandar Mitrovic looks poised to join Fulham after the club “agreed a fee in principle” for the striker, according to the Daily Telegraph journalist Luke Edwards.
The transfer amount has yet to be confirmed although we have been demanding £20m for the Serbian international.
Mitro is now on holiday after his exploits at the World Cup, and while no deal was likely with Serbia still involved in the tournament, their exit in the group stage means Fulham have stepped up their interest.
A transfer could be completed by the end of the month, the Telegraph believes, with the 23-year-old keen to join up with the Cottagers after spending six months on loan at the London club last season.
The striker scored 12 goals in 20 appearances during his spell in the Championship and the club’s manager Slavisa Jokanovic is said to be very keen to snap up the player on a permanent deal.
