It looks set to be another will-he, won’t-he, spend money situation involving Mike Ashley in the final days of the transfer window.
The Magpies are getting linked with plenty of players at the moment but that can mean very little – especially when it comes to us.
However, one thing we seem to be set to see is the exit of Jacob Murphy with the winger on the brink of moving to West Brom by the looks of it.

The former Norwich man has got plenty of talent but he just doesn’t quite seem there at the moment and so maybe a loan deal will do him good.
Whether this has anything to do with our prospects of keeping Rondon remains to be seen, as well, but it does look as though we’re doing a lot of business with the Baggies right now.
