Newcastle are reportedly casting an eye over 21-year-old Dutch Under-21 International, Joshua Zirkzee according to German publication, Sport1.
Zirkzee is currently on the books at Bayern Munich and could be available for as little as £10m as he’s currently training alone at the German champions.
HITC are running with reports from Het Laaste Niews suggesting that Newcastle are keen on the 6’4″ poacher who has seven goals in eight Under-21 caps for the Netherlands. After spending last season out on loan at Anderlecht where he bagged 18 goals and provided 13 assists, he now finds himself out of favour at Munich. This is despite the likes of Joshua Kimmich labelling Zirkzee as “deadly” and a “crazy talent” by Manuel Neuer.

Preferring to leave Munich in search of first-team football rather than sitting on the bench as an outcast, Zirkzee will be allowed to leave the Allianz Arena for a knock-down fee.
Zirkzee almost joined Everton before making the switch to Munich when he left Feyenoord, but opted for the German outfit as he felt that breaking into a team in the Bundesliga would have been easier than doing so in the Premier League.
If the Magpies could pick him up for £10m it has to be worth a punt, surely?
