It is believed Southampton and Everton are also keeping tabs on the 25-year-old. The Chronicle reports that Rafa Benitez is looking for another centre-back despite sealing a deal for Fabian Schar this summer.
Bairner revealed on his Twitter account that Jullien would cost in the region of €10m (£8.9m), and with our track record this summer, it seems like a stretch that we’ll even be able to afford that.
