New Season NUFC Kit Leak

|

It’s the time of year where football supporters either can’t get away from their club quick enough or feel the anticipation of what abomination of a design the next batch of strips will be.

Here under Mike Ashley’s ‘ownership’, it’s slightly tainted by the disdain of how he’s doing things in that some bad efforts have been criticised beyond belief and the more decent ones left to be bought by a lower number than once was.

Most of my personal grumbles have come from the quality of strips nowadays like a cheap plastic shopping bag that rips with the slightest touch although the design seems to have been tailored more to pleasing us than they once were as the yellow stripey deckchair kit seemed to be there to rub our noses in it.

As it is, the latest kit rumours have our next season home and away strips as looking half decent like this year’s lot. The footyheadlines.com shirt rumour site is generally in the know with the designs and whatnot as they must get some sort of insider knowledge but the final ‘for sale’ versions sometimes have a slight change.

The home kit seems to be an inverted version of this season’s but with no obvious collar.  That may change in the final released version but even if it’s not, it’s not a bad strip. Hopefully, the numbering stays red.

As for the away kit rumour, no real explanation is needed here although it has to have white shorts and numbering. It is also a similar offering to our famous kit that we wore when we took the premier league by storm in the mid 90’s with the likes David Ginola, Les Ferdinand, Peter Beardsley and co.

With no mention of a third kit yet, I’ll throw out a leftfield prediction and reckon it could be green but don’t quote me on it as we’ll find out soon enough.
