Newcastle United are battling for their Premier League status again this season and it has been a tough slog for the first few months of the campaign.
The Magpies finally secured their first victory at the weekend, at the 11th time of asking, edging past Watford thanks to Ayoze Perez’s strike – but there is still plenty of discontent amongst the passionate supporters.
Despite being up for sale for over a year, Mike Ashley remains in charge at St. James’ Park and is as popular as ever – with supporters concerned that he will restrict the funds available for Rafael Benitez again in January.
While Ashley expands his business portfolio, Newcastle languish at the wrong end of the table and frustrations are starting to boil over, with one particular fan taking action in the weekend’s victory over Watford by confronting their unpopular owner.
