More Ticket Madness

The clamour to see the new-look Mags continues as nearly 10,000 people are held in an online queue for tickets for the two home friendlies later this month.

Tickets for the back-to-back home games went on sale at 10am today and people found themselves in a virtual queue much like they were last week for season tickets, albeit in a smaller scale. And that’s not to mention the queue of people that formed around the stadium box office and those who opted to order their tickets by phone.

The increased prices hasn’t seemed to put people off, despite the backlash. Tickets are priced at £20 (£10 concessions) or £35 for both games (£15 concessions) which is double what fans were paying last season.

However, the difference here is, that there’s excitement and belief around the club again, so although the tickets are twice the price, there’s at least ten times the excitement. There’s much more value for money this time around, especially if you opt for the package deal where you can attend both games: Atalanta on Friday 29th July (K.O. 7.45pm) followed by Athletic Bilbao on Saturday 30th July (K.O. 3pm).
