More Misery For Newcastle Suggests TV Pundit

|

Six games into the new season and Newcastle United have yet to win a Premier League game.

Such form, on which relegation battles are fought, sees the club in the bottom three of the Premier League with the support fearful of what this season might bring if the side cannot get that first crucial win soon.

This Saturday, Leicester City visit St James Park for a Premier League fixture, a game the Newcastle support hope will produce that first crucial win.

However, according to the TV pundit, Mark Lawrenson, that won’t be the case.

In his regular feature, BBC, the former Liverpool centre-back reckons Leicester City will emerge victorious, winning 2-0, whilst remarking about the game:

“Newcastle need to find a way to start winning games but I cannot see that happening on Saturday.

“With the pace that Leicester have got in their attack, I can see them going to St James’ Park and winning.”

If Lawrenson is correct then Newcastle will have lost their first four opening fixtures of a season for the first time, not something we want to contemplate.

But, how do you see this game panning out?

Please feel free to drop your prediction in the comments facility beneath this article.

For the record books, I’m going for a Newcastle win, 2-1, let’s hope I’m right.
