Watching Huddersfield’s latest butchery of opponents at the Galpharm Stadium, it seems like Lee Clark might just be earning himself a name on the ‘one to watch’ list when Chris Hughton is either unceremoniusly dumped or decides to make way.

As I watch Clarky’s side doing a number on Wycombe today, their second six goal plus thumping in a row, it seems like we could be ignoring a man who fulfils a lot of desirable criteria for the next Newcastle boss.

Clarky has got the Terriers playing with attacking verve and passion, with some fantastically slick interplay. We got a taste of this earlier in the season in a ding-dong 4-3 cup win at SJP and saw the spikier edge in our 1-0 pre season win.

Either way there will definitely be a few sitting up and taking notice of Jigsaw’s progress down in West Yorkshire.
