As another of the many foreign players being linked with a move away, probably back to Holland on the cheap, Tim Krul should probably not have the long term interests of the club at the forefront of his mind. However the Dutch keeper today called for some sort of unity and focus within the club as the season looms just two weeks away. Curtains Tim said:

“It`s an interesting club, and it`s got everything to be at the top of the English game. It`s got the stadium and the supporters – everything.

We just need to keep going. We need everybody behind the team now. We have to forget everything around the team – it`s just the team now. We can look at the negatives all the time, but there`s only one thing we have to do, and that`s win games now.

We need a manager, of course. If the owner wants to sell it, we need that to happen as quickly as possible. If we have a new owner, we can get new players in. Everybody needs to know where we stand – that`s the most important thing.”
