Turkish League giants Besiktas have made an offer to end Patrick Kluivert’s three year misery and offer him a new life in Turkey. They are set to offer him a cut-price 2 year contract this summer, only half what he is earning now at Valencia, but they hope and believe he will take it to get away from Spain.

Galatasaray were interested in him when he left Barcelona on loan to join Newcastle, and they could be back in the hunt.

Kluivert was released by Newcastle after a disappointing spell in England. He started only 14 Premier Lague matches for the Magpies, scoring six times. Newcastle rejected the opportunity to take up the option for a second year on his contract, leaving the former Ajax and Milan striker free to leave.
