The club announced it had representatives at the Football Against Fakes anti-counterfeiting conference this week, and as you would expect, some of Newcastle fans took this opportunity to call out the club on social media, largely for having a ‘fake owner’.

Ashley was heavily criticised over the summer for his treatment of former manager Rafa Benitez, who left the club following the expiration of his contract
