“Here comes a masterclass” – A lot of Newcastle United fans are delighted for Fabian Schar after Switzerland qualified for Euro 2020.
The 27-year-old defender missed the final round of matches through injury but played a crucial role earlier in the campaign with a vital goal in the 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland and also an assist in the Swiss’s 4-0 drubbing of Gibraltar.
Schar, though, was told to remain in Newcastle as he continues to recover from a slight knee injury that has seen him miss the last three matches.
With Jamaal Lascelles now out till the new year, we could do with our Swiss dreamboat back as quickly as possible.

When he does return, he should be in high spirits because Switzerland have made it to the Euro’s, and we have picked up form as well.
