An awkward away game greets Newcastle today in what is Huddersfield’s first in the top league for over four decades.

A win or draw will see points on the board and the releasing of what would be a little bit of pressure mounting if we were to go home empty handed.

Admittedly, it is still well early in the season and still plenty of points to battle for but in the shape of Rafa Benitez, he has already pinpointed that momentum to grow can always be done if the positive stuff comes earlier.

Whilst many fans and media voices point at a battle to avoid relegation, Rafa hasn’t committed himself to any target publicly and just refers to the belief mentioned above with a win today putting us just on the tails of the European placings but defeat maybe allowing the relegation whispers to start early.

It’s stupid I know but on the back of recent tensions in the transfer market, it’ll be the media that place this ticking time bomb out there ready for someone to bite and they will.

The biggest issue in our starting side is who to replace the suspended Shelvey, personally id go with the pass and move specialist in Mikel Merino but Rafa usually likes to spring a surprise somewhere.

Aside from that, the injured Florian Lejeune will be repaced by either Lascelles or Mbemba.
