Lots of Newcastle United fans have been reacting on social media after Miguel Almiron stated that the club have a ‘very important’ run of games on the horizon.
Almiron was speaking with NUFC TV ahead of Saturday’s clash with Crystal Palace, as he looked forward to facing the side against whom he opened his Toon account during December’s 1-0 win at St. James’ Park.
It was the Paraguayan’s 27th Premier League appearance since his then-club-record £21million move from MLS franchise Atlanta United, and sparked a turn around for the 26-year-old who has since scored against Wolverhampton Wanderers and twice in the FA Cup against Rochdale.
Newcastle as a club have failed to score in either of our last two Premier League matches, and one point from four has seen Steve Bruce’s side remain just seven points clear of the relegation zone currently occupied by West Ham, Watford and Norwich.
Almiron is hoping to turn the tide on our form and take our first top-flight win since January 18 when we travel to Palace on Saturday, before encounters with Burnley, Southampton, Sheffield United and Aston Villa over the next month.
“We have a run of very important games coming up where we need to target the highest points total possible,” said Almiron.
What will the result be vs Crystal Palace?

I think it’s important that we all boycott Newcastle United until the club is run properly

We all know what the real problem is here. Why is it important? So we survive and fill his pockets. Pointless existence
