In the third-part of the interview with Vital Newcastle United’s teenage speedster Jonny Godsmark reveals the difficulty in concentrating on the Reserve games knowing the plight of the first-team in the Premier League, but says as professionals everyone is focused on their game, and that a desire to break into the first-team is what drives the boys at the Academy.

In the exclusive interview, Godsmark said: ‘We just have to concentrate on our jobs and let the first-team concentrate on theirs. It is hard with the first-team being in the spotlight so much lately but the reserve lads need to focus on their own job because ultimately if we do well for the Reserves then hopefully that is when we will get a chance in the first-team and then we can worry about the problems they face.’
