#BoycottArsenal was a movement that surprised many non-Newcastle fans, yet for those who support the Magpies, it was a needed protest.

The first two Premier League home games of the season have seen St. James Park hardly filled up, with The Chronicle reporting that the attendance last Saturday against Watford was the lowest since 2012.

The boycotting of home games from Newcastle fans is the latest attempt from supporters to drive Mike Ashley out of the club, and supporters on social media reacted that more protests are to occur in the future unless something is done.
