Eddie Howe spoke to the media this morning ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League home clash with West Ham in late kick-off at 5:30pm live on Sky Sports.

With Bruno Guimaraes suspended for the next three games following his straight red card on Tuesday, many people had theorised that Joelinton would drop back in the middle of the park to cover Bruno’s position, while Alan Saint-Maximin or new boy, Anthony Gordon would play on the left side of the attack.

However, Howe could be sticking with Joelinton on the left and giving local lad, Elliot Anderson his chance to show us what he can do in the Premier League.

As highlighted by The Chronicle, Howe said: “We have Elliot who we really like and we’d love to see how he develops his career.

“We have other players who can play in midfield as well. We will miss Bruno’s presence and quality but we have to adjust as a team and we will do.”
