It`s going to be interesting to see who Rafa plays this weekend in a game I believe could offer us a huge step towards safety in the Premier League.

Of course, it doesn`t take an analytical expert to work that out, you only have to look at the table and the shape the two sides are in to know that this is an important game.

And with us at home and, I believe, the better side, it would be a real setback if we didn`t record anything other than a win.

I`m already thinking we need to be more attacking for this game than we have been at times this year, but I am also wondering whether another midfield change is going to be made.

Jonjo Shelvey might be available but it seems to me that it would be a risk to start him in this game and, in the long run, it`s not worth forcing him to play.

He`s certainly one of our better stars and to risk him getting another injury on a longer term by playing him this weekend could be one of the silliest things we do this year.

To me, then, it`s Mikel Merino or Isaac Hayden that need to come in and, for this one, I`d go with the latter.

Merino has his moments, but I just wonder whether or not we can risk him having a off-day in a game like this.

Hayden, whilst perhaps not as good on the ball, is going to put in a shift undoubtedly and could be the extra drive in midfield we need to get this game over the line.

Rafa might still risk Jonjo but he`s never struck me as that sort and so I`d go with Isaac for this weekend.

Now let`s win.

Merino or Hayden? Who would you pick?
