The Newcastle fans have been reacting on social media to the latest comments made by Rafa Benitez and judging by their feedback they appear to be split.
The Spaniard has used his experience in China to take a swipe at the Newcastle board, according to The Daily Mail.
The Spaniard said in a blog on his website that he has had more contact with the Dalian Yifang hierarchy in his short period as their manager than he did with Newcastle’s board.
He said: “I must say that I have had more meetings with the Chairman, the President and the General Manager this week, than I had in 3 years at Newcastle.
“They haven’t just been work meetings, rather signs of respect in which we have been able to appreciate the differences and similarities in our cultures.”
Rafa was adored by the Magpies fans but some supporters believe since he left the club they should be more focused on the next manager, rather than looking back.
Some of the fanbase took to Twitter to share their views on him. One stated he was ‘pleased you’re with an owner that respects you’ now whilst another felt Rafa was ‘happy to take his money until a better offer came along’ and left the club.

Was happy to take his money until a better offer came along though wasn’t he. Clearly a man with no morals!
